U.S. Postal Service holiday shipping deadlines.
- Dec. 14 – USPS Retail Ground
- Dec. 19 – First-Class Mail for holiday cards and lightweight packages
- Dec. 20 – Priority Mail
- Dec. 22 – Priority Mail Express Service

UPS holiday shipping deadlines
- Dec. 18th with UPS 3 Day Select
- Dec. 20th with UPS 2nd Day Air (without Saturday delivery)
- Dec. 21th with UPS 2nd Day Air (if Saturday delivery is available; Saturday delivery isn’t available in all ZIP codes)
- Dec. 22th with UPS Next Day Air (with Saturday delivery)
- Dec. 24th with UPS Express Critical
- Dec. 25th with UPS Express Critical

FedEx 2017 holiday shipping deadlines
- Dec. 11th with FedEx SmartPost. This option may be more economical but it does not provide “day-definite” delivery; shipping usually takes between two and seven business days)
- Dec. 15th with FedEx Ground
- Dec. 18th with FedEx Home Delivery
- Dec. 19th with FedEx Express Saver
- Dec. 20th for both FedEx 2Day and FedEx 2Day A.M.
- Dec 21th with FedEx Standard Overnight, Priority Overnight and First Overnight.

Amazon has also released its 2017 holiday ordering deadlines. Order by these dates to get your packages there on time:
- Dec. 15th with free shipping
- Dec. 18th with standard shipping (which is free for Amazon Prime members)
- Dec. 22th with for two-day shipping (which is free for Amazon Prime members)
- Dec. 23th with one-day shipping (only available in certain cities but is free for Prime members)
- Dec. 24th with same-day delivery (only available in certain cities but free for Prime members)
