Recall Alert: Fresh Peaches, Nectarines, & Plums Possible Listeria Contamination

The FDA has recalled fresh peaches, nectarines and plums that have been sold at Aldi, Costco, Fairway Market, Hannaford, Market Basket and Walmart stores because of possible Listeria contamination.

Some of the peaches and nectarines were sold as bulk items and have a PLU sticker with the numbers 4044, 3035 or 4378. The Aldi peaches and plums were sold in two-pound bags with brand Rio Duero, EAN numbers 7804650090281, 7804650090298 or 7804650090304. Costco sold nectarines in a four-pound plastic clamshells marked as Rio Duero EAN number 7804650090212.

*RECALL* José Olé Frozen Beef Taquitos

If you have José Olé frozen beef taquitos in your freezer – take note!  These items have been recalled because they may contain bits of plastic and rubber.  They will have a Best By date of December 30, 2017 and the USDA mark of inspection number “Est. M-5590.”  They were shipped to California, Florida, Illinois, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wyoming.

If you have purchased these items, be sure to throw them away or return them to the place you purchased them from.

*RECALL* 1.7 Million Pounds Of Chicken Recalled!

Barber Foods is recalling more than 1.7 million pounds of frozen, raw, stuffed chicken that may be contaminated with salmonella, according to a U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Services announcement.
